The 3rd generation of students successfully concluded Papermaking School

With the graduation ceremony, the new generation of students completed the educational program of Papermaking School.

Interesting, rich and experiential educational program provided students with basic and specialist knowledge in the entire paper production process. With practical exercises demonstrating processes on a pilot paper machine at the ICP and on computer simulation equipment, they also received invaluable practical experience. As in previous years, the program included a presentation and a production tour the participating mills Količevo Karton, Goričane, Vipap Videm Krško, Radeče papir nova and Paloma.

New competencies, know-how and experience will help all the graduates to be even more effective and successful in daily work processes. The knowledge gained in the Papermaking School supports the development of a personal career and is a good basis for acquiring the National Vocational Qualification (NPQ), a publicly-recognized competency certificate for a papermaker and/or a paper technologist.

At ICP, we strive to transfer knowledge to future papermakers, so in June, we continue to register new students who will start their education in September. More about educational programme and enrolment is available at this link: Papermaking School 2019/2020.
