Paradajz d.o.o. was one of 28 companies that participated for the Environmental Award 2020. Four awards were granted, namely for an environmentally friendly company, service, product and process. The title of the most environmentally friendly product was given to the Lušt bag made of paper from tomato stems by Paradajz d.o.o., together with the Pulp and Paper Institute and Dama company. The material used for the bag was so far being composted or disposed in the nearest biogas plant, and for 2021 they already have plans how to properly store this biomass to be available all year round and thus useful for new products.
